I had a brief dating relationship with someone named Michelle Elizabeth Culhane. From our first date to my first call to Vancouver Police Department (WA, USA) was 66 days, during 2025.
As a Licensed Psychologist for over 10 years (longer as a therapist and clinical supervisor), I have worked with hundreds of people therapeutically and dozens in a supervisory capacity. The way mental health healing and wellness works (in my clinical and personal opinion) within the confines of clinical psychology practice is embedded in the therapeutic relationship, no matter how long ago that relationship began or ended.
Meaning: if a former or current client comes across information that their therapist has been “abusive” to another person, it affects the important work the client does, or has done, with that therapist.
Similarly, but perhaps not as intensely as therapy relationships, the vulnerable and important development that takes place as someone studies and practices as a growing psychotherapist, counselor, or psychologist is heavily influenced by the trust in their (current or former) clinical supervisor.
Just think about the first or last time you heard something awful about someone who personally had a hand in helping you develop personally and/or professionally. How did that affect you?
A range of reactions is possible and likely. It is for the vulnerable and harmful impacts on current/former clients and supervisees that I offer this site as a landing place for people negatively impacted in hearing or reading Michelle Culhane’s lies about me. I also welcome former/current trainees and clients to reach out to me professionally if a brief conversation would be helpful.
If you’re not impacted in the ways listed above, this site isn’t for you.
With applied hope, respect and care,
